I cannot thank Bella Palms staff enough. It has been a tremendous relief to have found a facility for my mother that I not only trust, but also one she enjoys being at. My mother has dementia as well as some unique needs, and I feel they do a great job with communicating with me and always trying to find different ways to help her feel comfortable. The facility is very clean, the caretakers are great, the food is great, and her favorite part is they have a backyard area they can go out to. Making the decision to place a parent in a residential care facility can be scary and painful. I know this first hand. Daryllen and her staff make the process so much easier. I moved my dad into Bella Palms 2018. It was so difficult to convince him to leave the home he knew for 40+ years. We toured the facility. My dad was able to ask all his questions. She reassured him he would have the utmost care. She was 100% correct. Three days after moving dad in, he tells me “we should have done this sooner”. Music to my ears. He knew he was home! The facility itself is beyond clean. It’s immaculate. The staff is friendly and caring and they treat their residents with the utmost respect. There are activities throughout the day/week but not to the point where it could overwhelm certain seniors. I liked that specifically for my Dad. The staff literally takes care of everything. I didn’t have to worry about anything. From laundry to prescriptions to preparing some of his favorite foods and snacks. It felt like home for him and that was the best feeling.
